About
What we believe and do is detailed in our church’s constitution.
Our constitution contains our covenant, a declaration of commitment to living out the truth of God’s Word as a part of this local church, and a statement of faith, which covers our core beliefs.
In our constitution, it formally states that the church exists for the purposes of education, worship, ordinances, and evangelism.
We live out that formal statement in how we gather and share our lives together. A local church is about family, friendship, and fellowship.
EDUCATION – This church shall nurture its members through a program of Christian education.
WORSHIP – This church shall provide regular opportunities for public worship on each Lord’s Day, both morning and evening, and will meet at least once during the week for Bible study and prayer.
ORDINANCES – This church shall sustain the ordinances of Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, as taught in the New Testament. The Lord’s Supper will be observed once each month, preferably on the first Sunday.
EVANGELISM – This church shall preach and propagate the Gospel of God through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
We believe God’s Word must be our only authority concerning our beliefs and practices. If you would like to learn more about what we believe, please visit our Statement of Faith page. A paper copy can be provided if you would prefer.
